Remodeling the Home of the Founders Parkway
The Founders Parkway is a favorite area in Las Vegas. It is located in between Southwestern Las Vegas and the Paris Las Vegas Boulevard, it's just a short drive to the world famous Las Vegas Strip. It is home to stunning scenery, but it is not only the Strip. There are many beautiful landscape options on the Parkway such as a path made of wooden planks and paved that leads to Castle Rock.
The Founders Parkway's paving design is unique because it is similar to other public works that are located in Las Vegas. The entrance to the parkway has a stone bench that is located between two pillars of stone. The bench, however, is rectangular in shape rather than the typical round shape as other parksways found in Las Vegas. Along the edges of the stone bench concrete is used in an array of intriguing patterns. Concrete patios are composed of six different types of concrete.
Concrete tabs are two of the concrete pavers included in the design. The concrete tabs are of a similar design to the Las Vegas concrete patio. The concrete that is used to design the Castle Rock section of the paver is colored so that it blend in with surrounding landscape. The color of the concrete is subtle enough that it doesn't overpower the natural beauty of the surroundings.
The other three concrete segments in the design are made up of large rock shapes. Each of these large rocks forms are colored to help the rocks stand out from concrete. The concrete section is colored in red to distinguish it from other concrete areas within the parkway. The concrete used for the project is colored in eleven different colors. Through the use of so many shades, the designers have been able to make the Parkway appear to be a different place from the rest of the development.
Another major alteration in the construction of the castle rock section of the Las Vegas Strip was the removal of the existing ground level concrete ramps and sidewalks with granite pavers. These pavers are made of granite and have a unique color pattern that blends nicely with the surrounding environment. The granite pavers feature a unique color pattern that blends seamlessly with the surrounding. They also make it easier for pedestrians to use and gives driveways a smoother feel during rain.
The covered walkway is yet another modification to the Las Vegas Strip's design.
