Remodeling the Home of the Founders Parkway
The Founders Parkway is a favorite area in Las Vegas. Located between Southwestern Las Vegas and the Paris Las Vegas Boulevard, it's only a short distance to the famed Las Vegas Strip. However, the beautiful scenery that is found there is not exclusive to the Strip. There are numerous beautiful landscaping options available along the Parkway such as a path constructed of wood planks and paved paths that lead to Castle Rock.
The Founders Parkway's paving style is unique as it has a similar appearance to other public works in Las Vegas. A stone bench is located at the front of the parkway. It's situated between two stone pillars. The bench, however, is rectangular in design instead of the traditional round shape as other parksways that are found in Las Vegas. Concrete is used to create fascinating patterns along the edges of the stone bench. The concrete patio is composed of six different types of concrete.
Concrete tabs are among the concrete pavers included in the design. They have similar designs to the Las Vegas concrete patio. The concrete used in the design of the Castle Rock section is colored to blend into the natural environment. But, the concrete isn't too prominent to enhance the natural beauty of the region.
The remaining three concrete segments in the design are constructed of large rocks. To make them stand out from concrete each of the big rock shapes have been colored. To help distinguish this section from the concrete around the parkway The concrete used in this area is red. The concrete used in the project comes in 11 colors. The designers have designed an Parkway that is completely distinct from the other areas of the development with the use of so many different shades.
Another major change that was made to the construction of the castle-rock section of the Las Vegas Strip was the replacement of the ground-level concrete sidewalks and ramps with granite pavers. The distinctive color pattern of these granite pavers blends seamlessly into the surrounding area. While providing aesthetic appeal and a more attractive appearance, granite also makes it easier to walk on , and gives the driveway a smoother feeling when it rains.
The Las Vegas Strip has a covered walkway which is another design change. This covered walkway is intended to protect residents from getting stepped on by the exposed roots of the tree-lined beach. This design can also help prevent erosion by allowing rainwater to drain into the sea. Since the concrete used on the walkway is embedded in the ground, there's no requirement to apply a concrete sealant put on the concrete surface. Instead the pavers are coated with a specific waterproof material that is slip and heat resistant.
Castle Rock offers a great climate to live in. It has a semi-tropical climate that is mild in winter but hot summers. The soil is sandy, and is perfect for planting plants. The plant species range from desert flowers to desert grasses, shrubs, and evergreens. The land slopes toward south and creates a cooler zone for residents.
Residents can enjoy a beautiful view of the Strip from the stone picnic area near the eastern end of. The stone bench offers seating and allows for a break away from the hustle and bustle of the casino floor. The bench is functional and visually appealing thanks to its stone structure. You'll be amazed how stones can bring outside to life when you stroll towards the deck's edge, to enjoy lunch or to relax under the stars of the Strip.
